Resolve to Evolve - Meditation Workshop with Chris

A Sanskrit word, sankalpa means "will, purpose, or determination." To make a sankalpa is to set an intention—it's like a New Year's resolution with a yogic twist. While a resolution often zeros in on a perceived negative aspect of ourselves, a sankalpa explores what's behind the thought or feeling.  The goal of meditation is to create greater self-awareness.  We will meditate on our sankalpa to give it positive power.
 

Sweetheart Couples Workshop with Jennifer

Friday, 2/12 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Take an evening off with your partner for couples yoga and yoga massage in our warm candlelit studio.  Practice fun and simple partner yoga postures and nurture each other with a sweet ending of guided yogassage, a thai based massage practice, that will leave you feeling relaxed and connected to your partner.  Includes light refreshments and massage oil.  Practice taught by Jennifer Langsdale and husband Denis who have taught this workshop around Northeast Ohio for over 3 years

40 Days to a Personal Revolution with Chris

The 40 Days to a Personal Revolution Workshop is an opportunity to change your life by finding your own Power through the practice of Yoga and meditation and with the support of the Nishkama Yoga community. Each student commits to practicing four times a week, preferably in the studio, and meditating and journaling each day. During the 40 Days, the group will have a dietary cleanse to help clean the body and clarify the mind. Students will be guided by the instructor and be provided the book "40 Days to a Personal Revolution" written by Baron Baptiste. The group will meet weekly to discuss progress and support each other. Each participant also receives an unlimited pass for Yoga for the entire 40 Days. All previously purchased passes and memberships will be on hold during this time and re-instated at the end of the 40 Days so you don't lose your previous investment. This event might just be the event that changes your life!!
