Bring a towel and a bottle of water.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows for full range of motion but does not expose your body.
Mats can be rented but we strongly recommend that students purchase their own.
Please remove your shoes before walking on the yoga studio floor.
Cell phones are not allowed in the studio.
Please let your teacher know if you have any injuries or physical restrictions, this includes pregnancy.
As a psychotherapist, I often encourage my clients to learn yoga as a
healing, self-nurturing practice. Nishkama's yoga classes address not just
the body, but mind and spirit as well. Because of this depth, I am
confident in recommending Nishkama Yoga to my clients.
Michael M. LPCC,
Share your practice with people who care about and support you. The teachers at Nishkama know you and they know your practice. -Jennifer, Why CLE?
Jennifer - Why CLE?,
The asana classes at Nishkama Yoga are challenging but at the same time, very accessible for me. The instructors will help you through if you are a beginner or not flexible. The best thing about the studio is the people. Whether it's Laura formatting your practice to your specific body or enjoying one of Ylonda's cello recordings during class. Those are gifts to me. The instructors at this studio are only interested in serving you. That's special to me.
Laura's class ROCKS! Good for both body and mind.
